WHAT IS SEEC AND WHAT DO WE DO?

Founded in February 2000 by Latino, African-American, and other community leaders to tackle the problem of unemployment among immigrant and local workers, the Shirlington Employment and Education Center (SEEC) quickly became known to day-laborers in the nearby Nauck neighborhood.  Today the Center helps workers of all ethnic backgrounds find employment at local and regional job sites.

WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?

SEEC is located one block from the intersection of Shirlinghton Road and South for Mile Run Drive in Arlington, easily accessible to I-395; Fairfax County, and other parts of Virginia; Washington, DC; and Maryland.
